COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Infected people have had a wide range of symptoms reported – from mild symptoms to severe illness.
Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
Fever or chills
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Muscle or body aches
New loss of taste or smell
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
You can do COVID-19 RTK Swab Antigen test at a clinic near you. This is a single swab taken from either your nasal or oropharyngeal passage. This test is over 95% accurate. This is a recommended test for COVID screening by the KKM. Results within 15 min.
In addition, you can also do a COVID-19 PCR Swab test. This is a dignostic test, that is gold standard in terms of accuracy and is a 2 swab test (one from the nose , and the other from oropharyngeal passage). The results for this test takes 24 hours -36 hours from sample harvest.
Look for emergency warning signs for COVID-19. If someone is showing any of these signs,
seek emergency medical care immediately by calling 999:
Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
Inability to wake or stay awake
Pale, gray, or blue-colored skin, lips, or nail beds, depending on skin tone.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19:
Get a COVID-19 vaccine when it’s available to you.
Wear a mask to protect yourself and others and stop the spread of COVID-19.
Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arm lengths) from others who don’t live with you.
Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces. The more people you are in contact with, the more likely you are to be exposed to COVID-19.
Clean your hands often, either with soap and water for 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces daily.
Monitor your health daily.
